About Amit R Agarwal
Amit R Agarwal is a very versatile person, who is not only working as an writer for movie reviews and actor but as a director now too. He has given TV Hits like 'Dekh Bhai Dekh', 'Yehi To Pyar Hai', 'Mere Message Mere Geet', 'Daayre' & "Virgin Meera" for Silver Screen. Besides this his production company and creative team "Popcorn Flicks" is doing commercial ads, corporate films and music videos for various customers/companies.
Amit R Agarwal become the "Best Upcoming New Talent from Shri Romesh Bhandari" and "Outstanding Student of the Academy from Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh". Subhash Ghai from Mukta Arts and Whistling Wood International gave him in 2000 the "Best Director Award" for his Diploma film.
He made his debut direction film with "Virgin.... Mira" - a movie which revolves around a small town Muslim girl who sets out to fulfil her father's dream.
His second movie as director is titled "I AM A LOVE ADDICT" - a satirical romantic comedy - Produced by Sanjay Sagar, Sanjay Trivedi, Ashu Patel, Ranjeet Guptara and with the leading actresses Khushi and Anjali Guptara. Releasing is planned for Dec. 2008. The movie is in post-production and shot in Maldives.
If all works out some of Amit´s work will be shown at the "Bollywood & Beyond" in Stuttgart/Germany in July 2008
